The exhibition retraces the first 45 years of Rome as capital city, from 1870 to the eve of the First World War. Maps, models, posters and films compose an urban mosaic made of documents, images and period imaginaries, conveying the complexity of a city in continuous transformation. This same logic of fragments and recomposition runs through the graphic system, where recurring modular panels generate, through variable arrangements, jagged and never identical walls. The typographic choice is not merely evocative: it defines the tone of the identity, balancing institutional authority, historical memory and contemporary legibility. The visual identity accompanies the exhibition route through a modular system, able to adapt to different supports, scales and materials while contributing to a compact and fluid narrative.
